In tonight’s lesson we talked about relationships. What friend did you list in our opening activity? What were you able to write down about that friend?
Relationships take time to develop. You learn about the other person through shared experiences and conversations. You laugh together and have fun together. Sometimes you might even have conflicts, but you work through them. Come the relationship you have with your best friend to the relationship you have with Jesus. What can you say about your relationship with Jesus? What do you feel like you know about Jesus?
It is hard to hear God. Tonight we talked about five factors that can distract us in our relationship to God. They’ll be listed below, but write out definitions for each factor and examples of how these things show up in your life.

Tonight, read Matthew 25:35-40 again. Think about the ways that you can challenge yourself to focus in on God, cut out the distractions, and serve others.
