What you will need for this session:
Bible.Pen.Paper/Journal

Open your Bible again to 1 John 4:19. Read it a few times.

1. How have you known this to be true?
2. Where have you fallen short in loving others?
3. What are three ways you could apply this verse each day?

In your mind think of one person who means a great deal to you. Got it?

In your journal write the person’s name. What is important to him or her? List all the things that are important to that person. Think of their dreams, goals, hobbies, etc.


Now list five ways you could serve this person in meaningful and authentic ways. How can you demonstrate the love you receive from god by serving this person?



After making your list, make a plan to follow through with a least one idea this week.
